Progress Reports
Three times during the academic year students will receive a progress report (PR1, 2 and 3). Each report contains a summary of assessment data in each subject, along with a teacher assessed grading on a student’s attitude to learning (ATL) and behaviour for learning (BFL) in class. Where a student receives an ATL or BFL score of a 3 or lower, teachers will note a ‘Area to Improve Most’ (AIM) which follows the code below.
For KS3, each report will contain an average knowledge assessment score from across the term along with end of year assessment scores on PR3. For subjects that primarily assess skills (PE, Art, DT, Drama, Music) they have a bespoke 1-5 skills grading each term. Details for each subject can be found below.
PE KS3 Skills Grading Criteria
Art/DT KS3 Skills Grading Criteria
Drama/Music Skills Grading Criteria
For KS4, each report will contain assessment scores or mock exams grades along with a prediction for the end of year based on assessment data and attitude to learning.
