Year 11 Exams Information Evening
We are delighted to welcome you on site on Thursday 13 January 4pm - 7pm to share important information with you regarding the public exams in May and June.
During the evening, we will hold two presentations in the main hall to update you and your child, on exam procedures/regulations, after school raising attainment lessons and top tips for supporting your child’s revision. Each student will also receive their personal exam pack containing important documents and the ID card, which must be presented to exam invigilators to gain entry to the exam venues.
The evening is also an opportunity for you to visit subject teachers to learn more about the specific resources available and details of any deadlines for coursework submission or resits if applicable to the subject. Our curriculum leaders are producing a one-page takeaway crib sheet to ensure you can access this information at a later date.
The school gym will host a number of Post 16 providers including colleges, sixth form and apprenticeship services. You are welcome to spend time with the representatives if your child is still undecided as to their next destination or if you require more information about particular courses or support services provided.
To help maintain social distancing during the event, we have decided to repeat the main presentation twice and invite you to attend either the first or second half of the evening. A link to book your place can be found below and we politely ask that when making a booking, one parent attends with their child and that face masks are worn on site in our ongoing efforts to limit any risks to the public’s health and safety at this time.
The timings of the event are:
First half: 4pm - 5.30pm with the main presentation starting at 4.15pm.
Second half: 5.30pm - 7pm with the main presentation starting at 5.45pm.
Please complete the online booking form using the link below.
If you have any questions please contact the Stanchester Office.
